Another demo painting from my upcoming course. Not every character concept has to be complicated or elaborate. In this project we are exploring how to make a relatively ordinary character look interesting and full of personality. I have found that Including "boring" characters in your portfolio can actually have a lot of appeal with art directors. I think this project will have a lot of value for students.
